Summary: Use PostLayr to schedule and publish your own content on Instagram. Don't use it for spam, abuse, or anything that violates Instagram's policies. Pay for what you use. We can suspend accounts that violate these terms. Indian law governs this agreement.
By creating an account or using PostLayr ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and LyfWis, the operator of PostLayr, based in India.
You must be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in the EEA) to use PostLayr. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements and have the legal authority to enter into this agreement.
You must provide accurate information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. PostLayr is not liable for losses arising from unauthorised access caused by your failure to secure your credentials.
You may not create accounts to circumvent usage limits, re-add previously deleted Instagram accounts during cooling-off periods, or engage in any form of system abuse.
PostLayr provides automated scheduling and publishing for Instagram content via Meta's official Instagram Graph API. You upload media and captions, set a publication time, and PostLayr publishes them automatically.
PostLayr's core function depends on Meta's Instagram Graph API. If Meta changes its API, revokes API access, or alters its terms, PostLayr's functionality may be affected. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted service in such cases and will notify users to the best of our ability.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. Planned maintenance windows will be communicated in advance where possible. Scheduled posts in the queue are retried after recovery from any downtime.
You agree not to use PostLayr to:
Your use of PostLayr must comply with Meta's Platform Terms, Developer Policies, and Instagram's Platform Policy. You are solely responsible for ensuring your content complies with all applicable Meta policies. PostLayr operates within Meta's rate limits; conduct that causes violations affecting other users may result in account suspension.
You retain all intellectual property rights in the content you upload. By uploading content, you grant PostLayr a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of publishing it to Instagram at your chosen time.
PostLayr does not claim ownership of your content, use it for any other purpose, or share it with third parties beyond what is necessary to operate the Service. You warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to all content you upload, and that it does not violate any applicable law or these Terms.
PostLayr offers a Free plan and paid Starter ($9/month) and Pro ($29/month) plans. Features and pricing are described on the Pricing page. We may change pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. All prices are in USD. Payment is processed by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record, which handles all applicable tax collection and compliance worldwide.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. PostLayr does not provide refunds for partial billing periods unless required by applicable law.
New accounts receive a 14-day trial with full access to features within Free plan limits. No credit card is required. After the trial, you may continue on the Free plan indefinitely within its standard limits, or upgrade to a paid plan.
You may request account deletion from the Dashboard at any time. Your account will be deleted 60 days after the request. You may cancel the deletion by logging back in within this period. This delay is a security and anti-abuse measure: Instagram accounts previously connected to a deleted account cannot be added to a new free account for 90 days.
We may suspend or terminate your account without notice if you: materially breach these Terms; violate Meta's API policies in a way that risks our API access; fail to pay subscription fees after reasonable notice; or engage in conduct that harms other users or the Service. Where feasible, we will provide prior notice and opportunity to remedy the breach before termination.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, POSTLAYR DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
PostLayr does not warrant that scheduled posts will always publish successfully. Failures can occur due to expired tokens, Meta API errors, network issues, or content policy violations. You are responsible for monitoring your scheduled posts.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, POSTLAYR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
POSTLAYR'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO POSTLAYR IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PostLayr and LyfWis from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any third party's rights.
The PostLayr name, logo, website, application, and all associated software are the intellectual property of LyfWis. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from PostLayr's intellectual property without our written consent.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
We encourage informal resolution first. Email support@postlayr.com and we will attempt to resolve concerns promptly before any formal proceedings.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you may close your account before they take effect.
